Transport
The M8 motorway is the backbone of Scotland's road system and passes directly through the city of Glasgow, The M8 links via the M73 to the M74 to Carlisle and the South, to the M80 to Stirling and the North, and via the M77 to Ayrshire and the south-west of Scotland.
Glasgow also benefits from an excellent public transport system with over 40 bus companies serving the City and surrounding area. It is also has the UK’s second largest suburban commuter rail network and subway system, with Glasgow Central Station literally right outside the front door of the Copenhagen Building giving easy access to local area the regions and the rest of Scotland and the UK.
